  • Helped clients establish long-term customer and distribution agreements with companies such as three of the then US banks (CRM software), a major European phone company (SMS and marketing software), an international analytics software company (analytics software), a major robot developer (autonomous systems) and numerous US government agencies (data and programming) with projects ranging to $100 million.
  • Helped small business entrepreneurs manage their legal risks involving start-up, funding, staff hiring, trademark protection, branding development and contracts within sectors such as retail, restaurants, salons, professional organizations and technology services.
  • Helped clients identify, protect and commercialize valuable trade secrets and leading edge technology products, including establishing documents, strategies and procedures within industries such as energy, robotics, tire testing, chemicals and information technology.
  • Served as a registered lobbyist for pro-business legislation for prominent Virginia trade groups and a higher education institution; managed over thirty-five business-related lawsuits within the US and in five other countries; helped establish a high profile national industry-wide litigation program working with industry leadership; published over twenty-five legal articles for business managers; served as the chief legal counsel and subsidiary president for Remington, a $400 million 2,500 employee international sporting goods company.
